Arc Spray Gun
Arc spray gun (Electric drive) is a type of Arc spray system that is used for the coating process on the surface of the substrate. In an electric drive arc spray gun the high power capacity (400 A) allows depositing coatings from both hard and soft wires very quickly and economically.
Airo Shot Blast coatings applied using the system have excellent bond strength, high hardness, low porosity, and are easily machined. When soft wires are using high coatings rates of up to 32 kg/h (70 lb/h) are possible.
Arc spray system (Electric drive) results in high deposition rates, very dense, low oxide coatings, and also a reduction in consumables and maintenance. In Arc spray gun (electric drive) voltage measurement is at the gun for reliable coating results.
In an electric drive arc spray gun system, a motor is used to push and pull the coating wire. This motor is connected to the control panel and drives with electricity.
