What is Wire Arc Spray Gun and its Advantages?
Wire Arc Spray Gun
In the wire arc spray gun process, two separate wires are fed into a spray gun and produced to a crossing point where a charge is applied over the wires, establishing an arc. The resulting heat of this arc melts the tips of the wire. Anatomizing gas, commonly air is marked across the arc zone forcing the particles to stimulate towards the substrate. This method is usually used for metallic, heavy thermal spray gun coatings.
Wire Arc Spray System
Wire Arc spraying owns some of the highest declaration rates of the many thermal spraying processes. It is usually used when large areas or a large number of parts need to be coated but is also useful in other spray purposes where a lightweight gun, start/stop action or fuel gas presents an issue. The specially designed Electric arc Spray Gun secures low operator fatigue and significantly reduced maintenance costs. The Wire Arc Spray system uses the "push" process, the driving force is a bigger, more strong wire drive motor placed within the control console. The drive unit can be installed on the power supply or remotely.
The Wire Arc Spray System is commonly used to:-
- Apply zinc and aluminum spray gun to structures and bridges to help prevent corrosion.
- Apply copper, zinc, and aluminum to create conductive coatings.
- On tube mill weld seams.
- Anti-slip application.
