Sand blasting hopper is a pressure pot/ vessel which is used for sand blasting operation. Sand blasting Hopper is used in a portable blasting machine. Sand blasting is a finishing process that is successfully utilized on glass, metal, plastic, ceramics, and stone. The sandblasting hopper is a safe, high productivity system designed for use with a wide range of abrasive media. The function of sand blasting hopper includes descaling, peening, Deburring, Deflashing, polishing, cleaning, and stress relieving.

The sand blasting hopper manufacturing is tested to 250 psi. Hydraulic testing is performed on the sand blasting machine. The thickness of the sandblasting hopper material is 6mm. and the sand blasting hopper is made from mild steel.

The sand blasting hopper works on the pressure blasting mechanism. The abrasives are filled into the sand blasting hopper when the machine is not working and the blast storage tank is not pressurized. At the top of the blasting hopper, a vibrating sieve is provided to sieve the abrasive filled.

When the sand blasting hopper gets pressurized the mushroom valve gets up and closes the sand blasting hopper close completely. When the sand blasting hopper is pressurized the material starts falling down into the mixing tube.

From the mixing tube, the abrasive is carried away by compressed air to the abrasive sand blasting nozzle for blasting through the blast hose. Blast nozzles are specially designed and tungsten carbides lined, resulting in long service life.

There is a remote control in the sand blasting hopper which is connected to the deadman handle .deadman handle is connected to the nozzle holder directly. so the operator holds this deadman handle and when he wants to off the machine he can directly off from the deadman handle. The remote control is connected to sand blasting hopper manufacturer through unions, so that remote can separate easily from the machine for maintenance. When we of the switch from the deadman handle the tank gets depressurized through the release valve. The sandblasting hopper consists of unions, ball valves,o-ring, mushroom valves, etc.

There is an air filter also that used in the machine after the compressor so that it can remove all the moisture content from compressed air. there is an outlet on the lower side of the air filter so that we can remove all the water collected in the air filter. There are many types of air filters which is used in sand blasting hopper.
